I hang out in the harbor

The port in Kushiro, Hokkaido is still a busy place but it was once bustling. The port is a base for hundreds if not thousands of fisherman and includes large facilities for bringing in woodchips (used by the city’s paper factories) and petroleum while shipping out milk to Tokyo, paper products, equipment, coal, and more.

Okamura Takashi & the Lemonheads

This grab from Mecha-Mecha Iketeru! (めちゃ²イケてるッ!) shows comedian and host Okamura Takashi (岡村隆史), center, with his posse of lemon-headed children. Spinning plates on sticks while dressed in full citrus fruit regalia and unitards is automatic awesome. The little chubby boy, named “タイガ”, kept dropping plates.
